(Tiradentes / MG, 1980) Multimedia artist, he develops his works always searching for an intimate relationship with nature. In 2014, participated in the artistic residency program Circulating AiR, organized by Stiftelsen 3,14 (Norway), and presented Atlas Oceano, a solo show at Galeria Millan (São Paulo, Brazil). In 2013, he presented two solo shows in Milan (Italy), one of them in front of the S. Maria Incoronata Church and the other at the Gluck50 Gallery. In 2012, he participated in the 30th Bienal de São Paulo and, in 2011, took part in the exhibition "The garden of forking paths sculpture project", at the Migros Museum Für Gegenwartskunst (Zurich, Switzerland). In that same year, he was one of the three Brazilian artists to display works in the special section Solo Projects Latino America, at ARCO 2011 (Madrid, Spain), and held a solo exhibition at Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). Among his most prominent individual exhibitions are the ones held at Parque Lage (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), 2010; Meyer Riegger (Karlsruhe, Germany), 2009; Arts Initiative Tokyo (Tokyo, Japan), 2007; Pavilhão Ascensão (São Paulo, Brazil), 2007; Museu de Arte da Pampulha (Belo Horizonte, Brazil), 2002; and Espaço Cultural Sergio Porto and Castelinho do Flamengo (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), 2001. He took part in several group exhibitions, such as "Nova arte nova" at Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), 2008; "A time frame" at PS1-MoMa (New York, USA), 2006; and "J’en rêve" at Fondation Cartier pour L’Art Contemporain (Paris, France), 2005. He participated in the 5th and 9th editions of the Mercosul Biennial (Porto Alegre, Brazil), 2005 and 2013. He was awarded the Marcantonio Vilaça Prize (Brazil) in 2005, and the Open Your Mind Prize (Switzerland), in 2009. In 2011, he entered the shortlist of the EFG Bank & ArtNexus Acquisition Award Nomination.
